Sunil (Shahrukh Khan) belongs to a middle-class family, and is intent in pursuing his career with a music group, despite of his dad (Anjan Srivastav) disapproval. Sunil

Due to Chris's parents disapproval Anna and Chris's engagement does not happen and she agrees to marry Sunil. But then Sunil discovers she still loves Chris. What does he do then forms the crux of the climax.
